Presidents Message

Welcome back to the London Aquaria Society for another year in the hobby. I trust everybody had a great summer. The weather was on our side this summer with lots of sun and more than enough heat

With the starting of another season we have our fish show and auction ahead of us at the end of September. I hope you are ready for some bargains and to get rid of all the extra fish or equipment you have in your fish room. You can empty and then you can fill up the extra space with something new.

The Guest speaker for September will be Brian Glazier and he will be doing a talk on Nutrition 101. All the different ways and means of feeding our fish and getting the best for our pets to look after them properly. To help them live longer and healthier and with that we may have more success in breeding them.

The BBQ was at the Gregg household in Dorchester. We had a great turn-out by the members and a good time was had by all. We even had a few brave souls that went swimming. On behalf of the club a big thank-you to Les Gregg for his hospitality.

The Jar Show for September will be Loaches, Suckers and Catfish as well as the Plant Class and the Open Class. As usual we have our own club auction.
